N. June Jones

N. June Jones, 85, of Lore City passed away Monday (March 4, 2013) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born June 11, 1927 in Lore City and was the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie (Cramblett) Wilson. June was a former employee of Hall & Barber Construction and Cambridge Savings Bank. She was a member of Stop Nine Church of Christ, a 1945 graduate of Worthington High School, a supporter of Buckeye Trail Sports and loved her animals. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" M. Jones who passed away October 1, 1994; one brother Charles "Bud" Wilson. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey L. (Kathy) Jones of Lore City and Jerald L. (Bev) Jones of Alabama; one step-son Robert M. Jones of Jackson; one sister Lena Kerr of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Jeffrey (Mickey) Jones, Josh (Brandi) Jones, Jodie (Brad) Franklin, Jeremy and Justin Jones; six great grandchildren; best friend Karen Tellep and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Evang. Woody Biggs officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
