Nancy DeVolld, 81, of Riverside, died Sunday (July 10, 2016) at The Sanctuary at Wilmington Place, Dayton. She was born October 1, 1934 in Highland County, daughter of the late Hugh B. Leslie and Vivian E. (Burba) Leslie. Ms. DeVolld retired from Promex Midwest Corporation, where she had been an office assistant for six years and then a manager for thirteen years. She faithfully attended the Vineyard Church of Dayton. She enjoyed bird watching and planting flowers. She especially loved any family get-togethers held over the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Dean Bamfield. She is survived by a son, David (& Judy) DeVolld of Mt. Vernon; three daughters, Diane (& Rick) Bamfield of Cambridge, Debbie Marshall of Akron, and Denise Donaldson of Riverside; a brother, William Leslie of Greenville WI; nine grandchildren, Ryan DeVolld, Josh Donaldson (& Kayla Murphy), Shellie (& Jeremy) Mull, Brooke (& Mike) Darrow, Luke Marshall, Ali Marshall, Corey DeVolld (& Brettany Smith), Caleb (& Tesia) DeVolld, and Cody DeVolld; eight great-grandchildren, Kira Jade DeVolld, Elijah Mull, Delaini Mull, Natalie DeVolld, Annalea DeVolld, Clara Hauenstein, Kamryn Darrow, and Priscilla Darrow; and her beloved Boston terrier, R2. Visitation will be held Friday (July 15, 2016) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Alton Alexander officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
