Nanette Sophia Davis, 58, of Cambridge, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday (September 9, 2021) at the Genesis Hospice Care (Morrison House), Zanesville.
Nan was born on December 27, 1962, in Cambridge, the beloved daughter of Bessie Elizabeth (Fields) Tobin, and the late Robert M. Tobin.
She was a 1981 graduate of Yellow Spring High School and worked for many years in the Healthcare Industry.
She enjoyed watching football, spending time with family, walking, reading the gossip magazines and the Soap Opera Digest , but most of all she especially loved spending quality time with her nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers, Jamie Viney (Mona) of Madison AL and Eric Tobin of Cambridge; and a "sister", Tanis Fields of Long Beach CA. She was the proud aunt of two nieces and four nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and a host of cousins. She leaves to cherish her memory her uncle, James Fields of Columbus; stepfather, Harold House of Springfield; special aunts, Laura Fields and Connie White of Cambridge; as well as many relatives, friends, and loved ones.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (September 14, 2021) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randolph White officiating.
Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
