Naomi Kay (Bates) Ferguson, 81, of Cambridge, went home to heaven on Thursday, December 21, 2017. She was born July 14, 1936 in Cumberland, Ohio, daughter of the late Paul R. Bates and Helen M. (Hull) Bates.
Naomi retired from Nicolozakes Trucking and Construction. She graduated from Quaker City High School and was one of the first women crowned - Miss Southeastern Ohio.
Naomi loved the Lord and was a life-long member of the Salesville Church of Faith.
She was a Crisis Hotline volunteer and involved in a local jail ministry.
She also served on a missionary trip to Haiti.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn Sue Brown and Robert Dale Brown.
Naomi leaves behind her two daughters; Melissa (Dean) Ross and Melanie (Randall) Baldwin; her grandchildren, Erica Slone, Jennifer Slone, Nicholas Durbin, Haley Sorrell; and her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Aleaha and Madalynn.
