Nathan W. " Nate" Ford, 37, of Flint, MI passed away unexpectedly at his home Tuesday (July 29, 2014). He was born November 4, 1976 in Cambridge and was the son of Lisa (Dutton) Ford Baker of Cambridge and the late John W. "Jack" Ford. Nate was a certified cell tower technician for B&M Tower Technology Inc. He enjoyed four wheeling, fast cars, and loved spending time with his son, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by maternal grandfathers Jack Dutton and Don Milhoan. Including his mother he is survived by his step-father, whom he called Dad, Dan Baker of Cambridge; one son Cayden William Ford, age 11, of Kimbolton; two brothers, Lukas (Jenny) Ford of Cambridge and Joshua Ray Baker, of Ft. Campbell, KY while serving with the U.S. Army; three step-sons, Chris Dobbins of Colorado, Chad Dobbins of Zanesville and Raymond Milner of Cambridge; maternal grandmothers, Theresa Dutton and Marilyn Milhoan both of Cambridge; paternal grandparents, Jean (Allen) Teter of Zanesville and Bill (Gloria) Ford of TN; two nieces, Brooklyn, age 11and Charley Rose, age 8; three nephews, Jakob, age 4, Bristol, age 3 and Karson, age 2; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and Monday from 11 to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday with Rev. Max Beery. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Nate's memory to Thorn-Black Funeral Home.
