Nellie Kathleen Laishley

Nellie Laishley, 88, of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at her home.

Nellie was born on February 20, 1935, in Noble County, a daughter of the late Pete and Kathleen (Wentworth) Robinson.

Nellie liked to play bingo, go to the casino, loved taking rides in the car, shopping, and eating out. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Laishley, whom she married on March 6, 1953, and passed away on March 7, 1991, and her sister, Lula Belle Parrish.

Nellie is survived by her son, Chuck (Julie) Laishley of Cambridge, her daughter, Lisa (John "Chuck") Sexton of Pleasant City, her sisters, Darla Wells, Vera Ross, and Anna Lucas. Also left to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren, Dave, Shannon, Justin, Reese, and Amber, ten great-grandchildren Leesa, Isabella, Memphis, Marshall, Kansas, Odaya, Leith, Taake, Remey, and Ripken, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
