Nevada Sue Hardy

Nevada Sue Hardy, 66, of Cambridge, died at her home on Sunday (March 11, 2018). She was born December 28, 1951 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Carl Jones and S. Kathleen (Calvert) Jones. Ms. Hardy had worked at Southeastern Med for thirty-six years as a nurse's aide. She was a member of The Salvation Army, often helping them out whenever she could. She was also a member of the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed going there. She loved to read. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Jones. She is survived by a sister, Dixie (& Charles) Conner of Kimbolton; six half-sisters; three half-brothers; two nephews, Charles Conner II of Kimbolton and Chris Conner of Caldwell; and a niece, Katie Crawford of New Concord. Visitation will be held Friday (March 16, 2018) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Envoy Edward McMillen officiating. Burial will be at Flat Ridge Cemetery, Monroe Township.
