Nona Josephine Long

Nona Josephine (Cavendish) Long, 78, of Cambridge, passed peacefully at Astoria Place in Cambridge on August 3, 2019.

She was born May 22, 1941 in Columbus, daughter of the late Herbert and Verna Cavendish.

Nona moved to Cambridge from Leisure City FL, where she retired as a bookkeeper from Homestead Tomato Packing Co and Strano Farms.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Long; and a brother, Robert Cavendish.

She is survived by her brother, Paul (& Charlotte) Cavendish; many nieces and nephews; and her dearest friend, Phyllis Ernst.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday (August 15, 2019) at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Cemetery (870 Reynoldsburg New Albany Road, Blacklick OH 43004).
