Our "virtuous" mother, Patricia Raye (Musick) Glass, 90, slipped away in the arms of Jesus November 3, 2024. She willingly worked with her hand's day & night caring for her family. She cleaned & cooked, baked & sewed. She gave her house a glow of warmth with tiny lights and candles in the windows. She made her house a welcoming place for us to call "home." In the mornings you could find her in her favorite chair reading her bible and at night her prayers could be heard as she knelt by the side of her bed. Her love extended beyond the walls of our home. She worked at Ketchems Nursing home, a private duty caregiver and Cambridge Christian Academy. As a pastor's wife she worked in the church. Taught Sunday School, a janitor, sang in the choir, missionary society, cooked funeral dinners, visited the shut ins & widows and picked up people and brought them to church ....till just 3 weeks ago. She sang with her husband and children in church and many revivals. Our mother had a true "servant's " heart. She was born to Thomas and Dorothy Musick on October 16, 1934, and graduated from Moxahala School and attended Ohio University. Besides her parents, preceding her in death was her husband of 61 years, Donald L. Glass (9/15/2024), step grandson, Caleb and great grandson, Kevin. Surviving her are her children who arise and call her blessed. Son, David (Paula) & children Davey (Laura), Jonathan (Ruth) and Jason Glass, Dorissa, Abi and Riley Reed. Daughter, Cathy (Randy) Teter and children LaDawn (Dan), Jennifer (Mike) and Dustin (JoAnn). Daughter, Donna (Don) Polascak, and son Jason. Daughter, Sherry Shannon & children Aubrey (Daniel), Alyssa & Nathan. Great grandchildren; Caleb, Sydney, Cameron, Alayna, Alyvia, Carson, Ian, Raelynn, Grace, Jefferson, Vivian, Edith, Tommy, Paige, Kaylee, Bella, Joshua, and Isobelle. Oh, how we will miss her hugs and waving goodbye till we drove out of sight. Our virtuous mother....her price was far above rubies. Thorn Black Funeral Home is providing services with a viewing at Freedom Worship Chapel, November 7, 2024, from 6-8 pm and November 8, 2024, at Oakfield Wesleyan Church, from 12 -1 pm, with the funeral at 1:00 pm.
