Patricia Ann (Huntsman) Mccollum

Patricia "Pat" Ann (Huntsman) McCollum, 78, of Senecaville, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at her home.

Pat was born on July 19, 1945, in Martins Ferry. She was raised in the community of Shepardstown in eastern Belmont County by the late Grace and Buck Huntsman.

Pat graduated from St. Clairsville High School in 1963. She married Matthew McCollum on June 6, 1970. Pat was an EMT Paramedic for Q.C. Fire Department for thirty years. She worked most of her life at Gibson Chevrolet and later at the Southern Lumber Co., both in Quaker City.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Buck and Grace Huntsman.

Pat leaves behind her husband, Mathew McCollum of nearly fifty-four years, her daughter, Nicole McCollum-Vanhorn, a son-in-law, "J" Vanhorn, and grandchildren, Jaxon, Haley, and Xavier Vanhorn.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 3-5PM with a memorial service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Quaker City, with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the Quaker City Fire Department.
