Patricia K. (Journey) Hill

Patricia K. (Journey) Hill, 56, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (November 5, 2013) at her home. She was born April 23, 1957 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Pete Jacob Journey and Leona Kathleen (Mitchell) Journey. Mrs. Hill had worked at the former March Electric as a line worker. She also was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Meadowbrook High School. She loved her animals and going to bingo. She was an avid bowler, having bowled in the Saturday night mixed leagues at both Capital Lanes and King Pin. She loved dancing, especially the polka. She always felt that being a mother was her greatest accomplishment. She is survived by her husband, Randall Hill; three daughters, Jennifer Sweigart of Cambridge, Nicole (& Jordan) Campbell of Cambridge, and Jessica (& Chad) Fountain of Cambridge; two brothers, Peter K. (& Kathy) Journey of Cambridge and Richard E. Journey of Charleston IL; a sister, Deborah L. (& Tim) Wheatley of Cambridge; and six grandchildren, Michaela Curts, Jaden McGee, Caleb Campbell, Cameron Campbell, Lara Fountain, and Carson Campbell. Family and friends may call on Thursday (November 7, 2013) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Evang. Mark Beros officiating. Burial will be at Buffalo Cemetery, at a later date.
