Patricia Martin

Patricia "Pat" (Dollison) Martin, 66, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (April 28, 2009) at her home. She was born December 27, 1942 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Walter Jr. Dollison and Betty Jean (Goodwell) Dollison. She married Chester L. Martin on September 25, 1965. Mrs. Martin was a cafeteria worker and a teacher's assistant in the Orrville school district for many years. She was Protestant by faith. Mrs. Martin was a 1961 graduate of Cambridge High School. She was a member of the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, who died on January 4, 2008. She is survived by a son, Kenny (& Pam) Martin of Orrville; three sisters, Mary Trescott of Byesville, Linda (& Carl) Cornett of Zanesville and Martha Ricks of Palatka FL; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Friday (May 1, 2009) from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Donald Glass officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
