Patricia G. Morton

Patricia G. "Pat" Morton, 85, of Cambridge, died Sunday (July 29, 2018) at the Countryview Assisted Living Center, Lore City.

She was born October 28, 1932 in Piqua, daughter of the late Errol Gruber Sr. and Katherine (Spain) Gruber.

Mrs. Morton retired from NCR after thirty years as a secretary.

She was a member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901 Auxiliary and the DAV Auxiliary.

She enjoyed knitting and ceramics – she was the owner of "Patty's Ceramics".

Mrs. Morton attended the University of Dayton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Errol Gruber Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Morton, whom she married in March of 1966; a son, Jeffrey (& Peggy) Morton of Baltimore MD; a daughter, Cynthia (& John) Newman of Glen Rock PA; a brother, George (& Cathy) Gruber of Kettering; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. **Friends will be received Wednesday (August 15, 2018) at the Cambridge VFW Post 2901 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A service conducted by the VFW Post 2901 Auxiliary will follow at 4 p.m.**
