Patricia Elaine Taylor, affectionately known as Pat, was born on July 29, 1941, in Egypt Valley, OH. She resided in Quaker City, OH, until her passing. Pat had a zest for life and found joy in the simple pleasures it offered.
Her favorite pastimes included tending to her garden, where she nurtured flourishing blooms and vibrant vegetables. Pat's green thumb was admired by all who visited her home. She also had a talent for cooking, and her delicious meals brought warmth and happiness to family and friends. Pat treasured the moments spent with her beloved great-granddaughter Azariah, whose company brought her immeasurable joy.
Patricia was married to her loving husband, Fredrick Eugene Taylor, and their bond was a testament to their enduring love and commitment to one another. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories and shared laughter for 65 years.
In addition to her husband, Pat leaves behind her daughter, Lori Taylor, who was her pride and joy. She was also a doting grandmother to Olivia Lucas and Ariane Ross, who brought immense happiness into her life. Pat's legacy continued through her great-granddaughter, Azariah Ross, whose presence brought a sparkle to her eyes. In addition to her family, she leaves behind best friends Ellen Purtiman (Ray), and Donna Price.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 10AM-11AM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Quaker City, with the service to immediately follow with Pastor Mark Slay officiating.
Patricia Elaine Taylor will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her infectious laughter, warm heart, and green thumb will forever be remembered and cherished. May she find eternal peace and happiness in the gardens of heaven.
