Patty A. Rogers, 82, of Cambridge, passed away Tuesday (July 30, 2019). She was born July 26, 1937 in Byesville, daughter of the late William and Pauline Kilburn.
Pat was a homemaker and business owner for many years. For the past 17 years she worked at the Cambridge Senior Center delivering meals on wheels. She was graduate of Byesville High in 1955. She was a member of Chalfant's Chapel United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Woman's group.
She enjoyed being outside and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Rogers, whom she married September 11, 1955.
She is survived by three sons, Jay (Gaye) Rogers of Pleasant City, Jamie (Lonna) Rogers of Cambridge, and Joe (Jessica) Rogers of Cambridge; four daughters, Jody (Mike) Beardmore of Zanesville, Jill (Jim) McManaway of Cambridge, Jean Ann (Mike) Patridge of San Francisco CA, and Joslyn (Bob) Dalton of Cleveland; twenty-one grandchildren, Aaron (Caila) Rogers, Greta Rogers, Terra (Tom) Koval, Darrin (Amanda) Beardmore, Travis Kinnan, Tori (Scott) Sedor, Joshua and Tucker Rogers, Katie Hilgert, Elizabeth, Allison, and Jenna Patridge, Abby and Grant Dalton, Dallas, Peyton and Bailey Rogers; thirteen great-grandchildren, Chance, Ashlynn, Camden, Noah, Lane, Anna, Hayley, Boston, Kobi, Kyri, Maddy, Jalen, and Bentley; her close sister, Nancy English of Cambridge and her daughter, Tonia, who was very special to Pat, her sister-in-law, Millie Dearth of Senecaville and several nieces & nephews and her special friend, Ernest Hayes of Senecaville whom she enjoyed spending time with.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (July 31, 2019) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Funeral services will be held at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, on Thursday (August 1, 2019) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Clayton Coffey officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to one of the following organizations: 1) Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center, 1022 Carlisle Avenue, Cambridge OH 43725; or 2) Chalfant's Chapel United Methodist Church.
