Paul Edward "Skip" Kyser, 74, of New Concord, died Sunday (March 24, 2019).
He was born June 14, 1944 in Ravenna, son of the late Paul L. and Erma S. Kyser.
Skip enjoyed being outdoors tending to his garden and flowers. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He worked at Randall Plastics, drove a water truck for D.A. Walden, and at Mining and Reclamation.
He leaves a son, Terry Gatrell (Carol Powell) of New Concord; a daughter, Melissa (Bobby) Yoho of New Concord; grandchildren, Jeramy Gatrell, Derek Gatrell (Kristen Barry), Shelbie (Jesse) Goodall and Shevy Yoho; five sisters, Betty (Gene) Hall of Adamsville, Ione (Ralph) Knipe, Rose Gibson, Marcia (Bill) Craft all of Cambridge, and Helen Soller (John Winterringer) of New Concord; three brothers, Kenneth Kyser, Bobby Kyser, and Raymond (Donna) Kyser all of New Concord; a sister-in-law, Jeanette Kyser of McConnelsville; and several nieces, nephews, close friends, and relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tamara Kay Kyser; brothers, William "Sonny" Kyser, Donald Kyser, and Jimmie Kyser; and brother-in-law, Paul Gibson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday (March 30, 2019) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge.
