Paul Hardy

Paul Hardy, 70, of Cambridge, passed away Thursday (October 10, 2019) at his home.

He was born September 8, 1949 in Coshocton and was the son of the late Samuel "Sam" Hardy and Mary Irene (Mercer) Hardy.

Mr. Hardy was a self-employed truck driver for many years, and a 1967 graduate of John Glenn High School.  He loved golfing and his '31 Ford.  He cherished his family very much.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bill Jackson; and a sister, Sandra Parker.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Lucas) Hardy, whom he married March 24, 1983; a son, Scott (Karen) Jackson of Cambridge; six siblings, Sam (Patty) Hardy of New Concord, Andy Hardy (Dottie Travis) of New Concord, Jesse Hardy of Columbus, Patricia (Ben) Wise of AZ, Kathy Ridgley of Byesville, and Molly Dybiec of Columbus; a grandchild, Kari (Josh) Fordyce of Byesville; and two great grandchildren, Hailey and Cooper Fordyce.

No calling hours will be observed.

Graveside services will be Saturday (October 26 ^th ) at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cambridge with military honors conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.  A Celebration of Life will follow at Cassell Station Fire Department.
