Paula King

Paula R. King, 73, of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Ohio Health Southeastern Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Paula was born on October 30, 1950, a daughter of the late Herb and Emma Jean (Bailey) Wright.

Paula worked for March Electric for 26 years and was a manager at Fuel Mart for 15 years. She was an avid 4-H Club Advisor. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Paula was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Randall King Jr., her mother and father-in-law, Ralph and Lucille King, and her best friend, Bonnie McCune.

Paula is survived by her husband, Randall King Sr., whom she married on July 8, 1957, her son, Brian (Becky) King of Columbus, her sister, Linda Keylor of Quaker City, one granddaughter, Kayla (Nate Baker) King of Piedmont, and two great-grandchildren, Bladen Secrest and Blaze Secrest.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 5-8PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with the service the following day, Friday, September 13, 2024, at 11AM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with Pastor Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens.
