Pauline Dugan, 95, of Cambridge, died Thursday (September 1, 2011) at the Beckett House at New Concord. She was born February 24, 1916 in Robins, daughter of the late Fred Murgatroyd and Susan (Scott) Murgatroyd. She married Vernon Dugan on September 1, 1940. Mrs. Dugan retired from Westinghouse in Byesville. She was a member of the Lore City United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; two brothers; and a sister. She is survived by a daughter, Pat (& Allen) Jones of Lore City; two grandchildren, Lori (& Rick) Hughes of Quaker City and Doug Jones of Columbus; three great-grandchildren, Lindsay (& Chris) Miles, Ryan (& Kylie) Gilcher, and Jenna Gilcher; two great-great-grandchildren, Austin and Coby; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Sunday (September 4, 2011) from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 2:45 p.m. with Rev. Carol Touvell officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pauline's name to the Lore City United Methodist Church, c/o Judy Dinges, PO Box 146, Lore City OH 43755.
