Pearl Eileen Burt

Pearl Eileen (Waers) Burt, 78, of Cambridge, died Monday (October 18, 2010) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born March 10, 1932 in Byesville, daughter of the late John Waers and Mary (Wickam) Waers. Mrs. Burt retired from the Red Carpet Health Care Center, where she had worked as an aide. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burt; three sons, Randy Gene Burt, Ricky David Rodriquez, and Robert Burt; a grandson, Michael Robison; and a granddaughter, Kentina Davis Fair. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Rodriquez of Cambridge; two sons, Timothy (& Susie) Burt of Byesville and Bill (& Dreama) Burt of Cambridge; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and life-long friends. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Monday (October 25, 2010) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Diana Payton officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
