Philip T. Repino, 70, of Cambridge, died Saturday (February 6, 2010) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born September 16, 1939 in Lewistown PA, son of the late Philip A. Repino and Ann (Deninsky) Repino. He earned his bachelor's degree from Penn State University. Mr. Repino was a self-employed technical manual writer, submitting work for both the Nokia Corporation and also Palm Pilot. After his retirement in California, he became a land steward on his precious thirty-five acres in Cambridge. He was a member of the Center United Methodist Church, where he had served as treasurer and also the past chair of the trustees. He was very involved with his family, farm and church. He was an active volunteer at the Grace Pantry. Mr. Repino was a US Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Deanna (Mantooth) Dupler-Repino of the home, whom he married July 11, 2002; a granddaughter whom they raised, Samantha Petri; a daughter, Tiffaney (& Chris) Sharmer of Tracy CA; two step-sons, Jeff Dupler of Cambridge and Jason "Rocky" Dupler of San Jose CA; a brother, Dennis (& Ann) Repino of Lebanon PA; two sisters, Mary Alice Bingamon of Annville PA and Rosalie Diamond of Indianapolis IN; and a grandson, Jackson Dupler. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
