Phillip A. Schoendorff "Phil", 54, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday (January 2, 2023).
Phil was born December 6, 1968, in Fremont OH, son of John P. and Katherine "Kathy" L. Schoendorff.
He was an employee of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources as a network and telephone specialist of 33 years. His work area was in the central and western section of Ohio.
Phil was an Eagle Scout and life member of the National Eagle Scout Association; a life member of the Order of the Arrow Lodge 424 Netawatwees; an endowed member of the Quaker City Masonic Lodge # 500; a life member and 32nd Degree Mason, Valley of Cambridge Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite; and a life member of the Aladdin Shrine in Grove City.
He enjoyed board gaming, traveling, a Labrador named Kaci, motorcycle riding, and most importantly, helping others. Phil was a graduate of Buckeye Trail High School (Muskingum Joint Vocational School) and Ohio University.
Phil is survived by his parents, John and Katherine "Kathy" Schoendorff of Cambridge; his grandmother; an aunt; an uncle; many cousins and friends; and his Masonic Brethren.
Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday (January 17, 2023) from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m.
