Phyllis Oletta Bell, 96, of New Concord passed away Saturday (August 10, 2019) at her home.
She was born January 10, 1923 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late William M. and Lala (Lowery) Christie.
Mrs. Bell was a self-employed house cleaner, a member of Church of Christ, Golden Sixties, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Brenda K. Voorhies-Eckelberry; one great grandson Michael J. Wells; three husbands, Vaughn Eckelberry, Jesse V. Enochs, and Charlie Bell; one brother John William Christie; two sisters, Blanche Bennett and Ethel Barton.
She is survived by one son Kevin Eckelberry of Cambridge; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Guernsey for their compassion and care.
No calling hours or services will be observed.
