Phyllis Ann Croft, 75, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday (September 16, 2006) at the home of her daughter in Cambridge. She was born September 11, 1931 in Toledo, daughter of the late Louis Stoncheck and Marcella (Braatz) Stoncheck Cordell. Mrs. Croft was the former owner of the Country Goose Art & Frame Shop. She organized the Heritage of the Arts for the Salt Fork Arts and Craft Festival. She was a volunteer at the John Glenn Museum. Mrs. Croft was a former member of the Cambridge Singers and also a former hospital volunteer at Guernsey Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Croft had been the former library coordinator for Oakland School. She leaves her husband, John E. Croft of the home, whom she married on September 20, 1952; two daughters, Leeanna (& Steve) Lowe of Cambridge and Carolyn Croft of Dresden; a brother, Leo (& Sarah) Stoncheck of Swanton; and four grandchildren, Christopher (& Sara) Lowe of Johnstown, Stephanie (& Matthew) Wright of Philadelphia PA, Peter Lowe and Jennilyn Lowe both currently attending The Ohio State University in Columbus. In accordance with her wishes, funeral services were held privately. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
