Phyllis L. Vozar

Phyllis L. Vozar, 77, of Cambridge, died Thursday (December 27, 2012) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born January 23, 1935 in Evansville IN, daughter of the late Charles Barnett and Mary (Scalf) Barnett. Mrs. Vozar worked as a lab technician at the Ben Venue Laboratory for many years. She enjoyed her retirement years playing the slots and watching the TV Land channel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Vozar; and two sisters, Donna Barnett and Bonnie Stover. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara (& James) Goodwill of Cambridge, Helen (& Bob) Takacs of Youngstown, and Mary (& Jerry) Safranek of Solon; two brothers, Gary Barnett and Jerry Barnett both of Cleveland; and three grandchildren, Danny Ignatious, Josie Takacs, and Ricky Safranek. No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
