Princella Thompkins

Princella Thompkins, of Zanesville, died Monday (June 18, 2018) at Altercare of Zanesville. She was born February 20, 1915 in Mecca GA, daughter of the late Charles Thompkins and Alberta (Viney) Thompkins-Turner. Miss Thompkins had worked as a glass blower with Cambridge Glass until it closed. She was a member of the St. Paul CME Church of Cambridge. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three daughters, Lois Little, Lena Pannell, and Nancy Thompkins; a son, Eugene Thompkins; a brother, Pet Thompkins; and a sister, Fairnella Thompkins. She is survived by a daughter, Connie Tate of Zanesville; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday (June 21, 2018) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randolph White officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
