Priscilla Lackey

Priscilla "Punky" Lackey, 70, of Cambridge, died Saturday (October 26, 2019) at the home of her daughter.

She was born November 29, 1948 in Lenoir NC, daughter of the late William Allen and Doris "Dodie" (Johnson) Callihan.

A 1966 graduate of Cambridge High School, Priscilla retired from Rotech, where she had been a location manager. She had also worked at Riesbeck's of Cambridge and at a radio station in North Carolina.

She cherished spending time with her family and reminiscing. She enjoyed playing Nintendo and watching her favorite TV show, Survivor .

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Lackey, who died December 20, 2009. They were married on November 29, 1980. Also deceased is her step-father, William E. Callihan; a sister, Patricia Lagneaux; and a brother, Trent Callihan.

She is survived by a son, Steve Helton (& Kathryn LePage) of Cambridge; a daughter, Lisa (& Roger) Whaley of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Ethan Helton, Phillip Choma, and Kylie (& Chris) Gebhart; two great-grandchildren, Carter Gebhart and Laney Gebhart; her cousins; and her lifelong friends, Susie and Kay.

Private services will be held for the family.

Everyone is invited to a celebration of Priscilla's life at Theo's Restaurant – Upstairs, Cambridge, on Wednesday (October 30, 2019) at 5 p.m.

As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Priscilla's name to Pound Partners, PO Box 1384, Cambridge OH 43725.
