Ralph H. Evans, 89, of Lore City, died Saturday (September 14, 2019) at his home.
He was born November 19, 1929 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, son of the late Pablo Lloveras and Mercedes (Saldańa) Lloveras.
Mr. Evans retired from Raytheon as an engineer. He earned his engineering degree from MIT.
He was a member of Christ Our Light Parish.
He was an environmentalist and a member of the Sierra Club.
Mr. Evans was a US Air Force veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Maria Lloveras Cumming and Francisca Lloveras Ortiz.
He is survived by six nieces and nephews, Mercedes (Rubin) Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz, Lourdes Ortiz, Donald (Amy) Cumming, Isabel (Donald) Cumming, and Maria (Jeff) Cumming; and several great-nieces & great-nephews.
No calling hours will be observed. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
