Ralph Finley Shinkle Jr

Ralph Finley Shinkle Jr., 74, of Byesville, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at his home.

Ralph was born on January 10, 1950, in Lima, a son of the late Ralph Finley Shinkle Sr., and Betty Gee.

Ralph was an over the road trucker and worked for Advantage Tank Lines for 17 years. He enjoyed golfing, painting, bowling, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Stop Nine Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Shinkle, whom he married on November 25, 1975, and passed away on May 14, 2017, his brother, Rick Shinkle, and his sister, Patty Boyles.

Ralph is survived by three sons, Yancy Shinkle of Cambridge, Ryan Shinkle of Byesville, and Quintin (Dee) Shinkle of Byesville, one sister, Christi (Fred) Haggard of Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, Alex, Yancy, Caleb, Mykal, Summer, Lani, Tristin, and Logan, and two great grandchildren, River and Aurora.
