Randolph A. Jones

Randolph A. "Randy" Jones, 57, of Cambridge, passed away Friday (December 16, 2016) at Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 16, 1959 in Hopewell VA, son of Alice V. (Cliborne) Jones and the late Ernest L. Jones. Mr. Jones was a graduate of Hopewell High School. He was previously employed by Federal Mogul. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding, dancing, and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He was a member of the Zanesville Flames Motorcycle Club and the VFW. Mr. Jones was a US Army veteran. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Verglee Cliborne; his mother-in-law, Linda K. Buker; and his grandparents-in-law, Forest and Mary Buker. He is survived by his mother Alice V. Jones of Hopewell VA: two sons, Michael Jones and Jordan Jones both of Cambridge; a daughter, Adrianne Jones of Midland; a stepdaughter, Chelsea Gibson of Cambridge; four brothers, Ernest L. Jones, Lawrence E. Jones, Thomas L. Jones, and Alphonso L. (& Kimberly) Jones all of Hopewell VA; two sisters, Florine E. Wheeler and Lisa A. Jones both of Hopewell VA; four grandchildren, Lantz Jones, Zora Jones, Bryce Jones, and Cecelia Jones; a sister-in-law, Jeanna (& Terry) Nelson of Coshocton; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Fenn, Kyle Nelson, April Jones, and Jamiel Wheeler; and the mother to his children and grandmother to his grandchildren, Lee Ellen Jones. Visitation will be held Thursday (December 22, 2016) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randolph White officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, with military honor conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
