Raymond "Pete" H. Morris Sr.

Raymond H. "Pete" Morris Sr., 81, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (February 11, 2014) at Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation – Cambridge.

He was born December 20, 1932 in Ohio, son of the late Sylvan C. Morris and Hilda V. (Ankrom) Morris.

Mr. Morris had worked as a tree trimmer for Noxious Vegetation Control.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ercell L. "Sue" (Hood) Morris, who died March 20, 1998; three brother, Roy, Ronald, and Larry; and two sisters, Nada Leeper and Carol Knouff.

He is survived by five sons, William Morris of Cambridge, James Morris of Cambridge, Thomas Morris of North Salem, Raymond Morris Jr. of Pleasant City, and Cary Morris of Cambridge; a daughter, Judith Wharton of Byesville; and a sister, Bonnie Harper of Cambridge.

No calling hours will be observed.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday (February 18, 2014) at 11 a.m. at Northwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Don Glass officiating.

Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery.
