Rebecca K. Lehotay

Rebecca K. Lehotay, 72, of Cambridge, died Friday (May 1, 2020) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

Rebecca was born in Fostoria, Ohio on August 21, 1947. She is the daughter of the late Robert E. Abrams and Nancy Alice (Kimble) Abrams.

She retired from Red Carpet Health Care Center where she worked with the physical therapy department.

She was a member of Christ Our Light Parish, St. Benedicts Catholic Church.

She enjoyed going to Amish Country with her friends. She loved her pets, dog "Minnie" and cat "Mello".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Wayne Abrams; and a granddaughter, Precious Mary Redd.

She is survived by her husband, Martin B. Lehotay, whom she married on November 2, 1974; four sons, Matthew Lehotay of Cambridge, Douglas (Jill) Lehotay of Cambridge, Martin Lehotay II of Columbus and Marcus (Brandy) Lehotay of Jamestown, Ohio; two daughters, Marci (Nathan) Redd of Lore City and Hayley Abbe of Montville; two brothers, Kenny Godfrey and Allan Godfrey both of West Virginia; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private for family only.

Friends and neighbors may attend the graveside service on Tuesday (May 5, 2020) at Guernsey Memory Gardens at approximately 2:45 p.m. Please be sure to heed to social distancing orders and wearing a face covering is strongly recommended.
