Rex Roberts

Rex Allen Roberts Sr., 56, of Cambridge, passed away Thursday (December 25, 2008) at his home. He was born on June 26, 1952 in Cambridge, son of the late Marion Junior Roberts and Lula Pauline (Hupp) Roberts. Mr. Roberts was a self-employed carpenter & craftsman. He enjoyed wood-working. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters. He leaves his wife, Sherry (Eltringham) Roberts of the home, whom he married on May 13, 1970; two sons, Rex Allen (& Melanie) Roberts Jr. of Orlando FL and Tracy Sherman of Cambridge; a daughter, Angellena Tara (& Mark) Stafford of Cambridge; two brothers, Dean Roberts of Cambridge and Rocky (& Debbie) Roberts of Cambridge; five sisters, Becky, Carol, Barb, Nancy and Betty; two granddaughters; three grandsons; four step-granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Family and friends may call on Saturday (December 27, 2008) from 2 to 4 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge.
