Rexel Allen Grose

Rexel Allen Grose, 38, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (June 29, 2010) at his home. He was born February 27, 1972 in Leesburg FL, son of Rexel Ray Grose and Joyce Underwood. Mr. Grose was a self-employed carpenter and a former employee of Carter Lumber. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Four Square Gospel Church. He enjoyed fishing and attending auto shows, especially those with old cars. He loved drawing, which was a special talent of his. Mr. Grose was a US Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle, Tom Underwood. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Cain) Grose of the home, whom he married July 22, 2000; his mother, Joyce Underwood of Senecaville; his father, Rexel Ray Grose of Charleston WV; three daughters, Nicole Cain, Breann Grose and Tiffany Grose; a sister, Vera Grose of Cambridge; his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Bill and Linda Cain of Cambridge; two sisters-in-law, Kimberly Cain and Wanda Finch both of Cambridge; and his cousins, Tom and Brenda Underwood of Port Washington. Family and friends may call on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Saturday (July 3, 2010) at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bill Cain officiating. Burial will be at East Union Cemetery, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
