Richard "Bubba" Lee Daugherty

Richard “Bubba” Lee Daugherty, 68, of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Bubba was born on January 24, 1958, a son of the late Paul and Leota (Seaton) Daugherty.

Bubba was a truck driver for Transport America. He loved his job and was very sad when he had to quit. He enjoyed camping, watching TV, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, April (Weaver) Daugherty, and his sister, Florence Olden.

Bubba is survived by his son, Robbie (Carly) Weaver of Byesville; his daughters, Jenny (Eddie) Rominger of Byesville, April (Shawn) Huff of Cambridge, Jessica (Drew) Massello of Cambridge, and Abby (Glen) Davis of Cambridge; his brothers, Butch (Roseann) Daugherty of Cambridge, and Tom Daugherty of New Concord; his sister, Barbara Seaton of Cambridge; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his companion, Sharon Dodd; his best friend, Kelly Weaver, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 11AM-1PM with the service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge.
