Richard Casterline, 64, of Quaker City, died Tuesday (October 2, 2007) at Ohio State's Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital, Columbus. He was born on March 3, 1943 in Middlebourne, son of the late William H. Casterline and Helen D. (Milligan) Casterline. Mr. Casterline retired after fifteen years as a machinist for Seminole Tubing. He was currently employed with The Daily Jeffersonian. Mr. Casterline was a 1961 graduate of Old Washington High School. He was a member of Old Washington United Methodist Church. He enjoyed model trains. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Hopkins and twin infant sisters. He leaves his wife, Mary Ann (Wynn) Casterline of the home, whom he married on October 10, 1964; a son, Richard Alan (& Cindy) Casterline of Barnesville; a daughter, Melissa (& Tommy Hudson Jr.) Lippert of New Concord; a brother, Stephen (& Pam) Casterline of Rockaway Beach, MO; a sister, Mildred (& Harry) Oakley of Avon Park, FL; a grandson, Cody Lee Lippert; a step-grandson, Jeff Lucas; and his mother-in-law, Thelma Wynn of Cambridge. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Saturday (October 6, 2007) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Justin Ray officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens.
