Richard E. "Dick" Wallace

Richard E."Dick" Wallace, 87, of Cambridge passed away Monday (May 6, 2013) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born November 23, 1925 in Cambridge and was the son of the late Robert Earl and Sadie Wallace. Mr. Wallace retired from the former State Hospital after 30 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary E. (Williams) Wallace in 1982; one brother Robert Wallace and one sister Evelyn Blackwell. He is survived by two sons, William (Brenda) Wallace of Boston, MA, and Robert (Cleve) Wallace of Cambridge; two daughters, Ellen (Dave) Gregg of Cambridge and Nancy (Ron) Bishop of Boston; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery.
