Richard "Rey" Ellsworth Yarger

Richard "Rey" Ellsworth Yarger, 71, of Old Washington, died Wednesday (April 30, 2008) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born on August 19, 1936 in Logan County, son of the late Ellsworth Yarger and Ruth (Richardson) Yarger. Mr. Yarger was a maintenance worker at Wal-Mart. He enjoyed fishing and helping others. Mr. Yarger was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and two granddaughters. He leaves two sons, Gale Yarger of Springfield and Bobby Rey Yarger of Phoenix AZ; four daughters, Kelly Yarger Munsey of Springfield, Karen Jameson of Springfield, Jacqueline Yarger McReynolds of Lakeview and Faith Yarger of Old Washington; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. No calling hours will be observed. No services will be held at this time.
