Richard Alan Jones

Richard Alan Jones, 58, of Cambridge passed away Monday (August 2, 2010) in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was born February 18, 1952 in Zanesville and was the son of the late Albert and Wilma (Smith) Jones. Mr. Jones was a truck driver for Mawson Inc. He loved his children, NASCAR, and was a truck driver for 37 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Jones. He is survived by three sons, Richard Alan Jones II,, Eric Keith Jones and Cory Jones, all of Byesville; one daughter, Courtney Jones of Byesville; two brothers, Bob (Eileen) Jones of Zanesville and Albert Jones Jr. of Cambridge; two sisters, Karen Jones and Sandra Tittle, both of Cambridge; one granddaughter, Hannah Brook Jones of Cambridge; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Saturday from 3-6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Sturman Moore officiating.
