Richard Lee King, 84, of Byesville, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Embassy of Cambridge.
Richard was born August 17, 1941, in Cambridge, a son to the late Raymond King and Dorothy (Larrison) Williams.
He was a Christian by faith and loved to play guitar and sing as well as mow grass, tinker with his John Deere, and sell used cars.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Sylvia Wilson and Wilma Bean.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Elmer) King, whom he married August 30, 1985; his son, Michael (& Stephanie) King of Ava; his daughter, Jennifer (& Dustin) Barr of Byesville; five grandchildren, Tyler (& Cassidy) Ayers, Breana (& Chris Kennedy) King, Austin King, David Barr, and Gracie Barr; and five great- grandchildren. His memory will also be cherished by the mother of Michael's children, Kimberly Ayers; friend, Rick Lambes; special friends, Roy Lowe, Bob Chambers and Bill Roe; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
