Richard L. "Rich" Uran Jr., 50, of Cambridge, died Thursday (February 17, 2011) at his home. He was born February 11, 1961 in Minneapolis MN, son of the late Richard Uran Sr. and Phylliss (Owens) Uran. Mr. Uran was a retired security officer connected with the police department in Phoenix AZ. He was an avid NASCAR fan, who enjoyed collecting NASCAR memorabilia. He was also a fan of Johnny Cash. He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Davies) Uran, whom he married September 30, 1983; two sons, Richard Uran III of Cambridge and Craig Uran of Phoenix AZ; two daughters, Samantha Uran of Cambridge and Danielle Denson of Phoenix AZ; four brothers, Mike Uran of Phoenix AZ, Dean (& Kim) Uran of Henderson NV, Louis (& Kelli) Uran of New Diggings WI, and Robert (& Marybeth) Uran of East Farmington WI; two sisters, Dianne Digirolamo of San Diego CA and Kathy Hoheimer of Lake of the Ozarks MO; and his mother-in-law, Diana Davies of Sun City AZ. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Tuesday (February 22, 2011) at 10 a.m. with Father Chester Pabin officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Byesville.
