Rita K. Hildebrand

Rita K. Hildebrand, 71, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (February 27, 2018) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.

She was born July 30, 1946 in Cambridge, daughter of the late William Burt and Florence (Valentine) Burt.

Ms. Hildebrand had formerly worked at Lumi-Lite. She had also worked in home healthcare for several years.

She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Ms. Hildebrand was a 1964 graduate of Byesville High School. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, crafts, and puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Detin; two brothers, Larry and Bob; and a sister, Norma Goffee.

She is survived by four sons, Douglas Hildebrand of Cambridge, Robert (& Ada) Hildebrand of Byesville, Mark (& Traci) Hildebrand of Freeport, and Devin (& Crystal) Hildebrand of Cambridge; a daughter, Angie Stanley of Cambridge; nineteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and the father of her children, Robert Hildebrand of Zanesville.

Visitation will be held Thursday (March 1, 2018) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 8 p.m.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville, at a later date.
