Robert R. Alexander

Robert R. Alexander, 54, of Cambridge, died Saturday (December 31, 2011) at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. He was born May 5, 1957 in Coshocton, son of Shirley (Larrison) Alexander and the late James Rankin Alexander. Mr. Alexander was an associate at Wal-Mart. He was Methodist by faith. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Alexander of Coshocton; a son; a daughter; two brothers, Glen Allen Alexander of Canton and Dennis Ray (& Melissa) Alexander of Texas; two grandsons; and his good friend and caretaker, Michael McAfee. Family and friends may call on Saturday (January 7, 2012) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Delbert Blair officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Thorn-Black Funeral Homes, Inc.
