Robert D. Beynon

Robert D. Beynon, 79, of Cambridge, died Saturday (August 15, 2015) at The Astoria Place of Cambridge. He was born February 2, 1936 in Cambridge, son of the late Herbert Beynon and Millie (Lippencott) Beynon. Robert enjoyed gardening and walking. He was also a carry-in employee of the former Cambridge Glass. He was Methodist by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Clifford, Herbert Jr., Kenneth, Paul, and his twin, Richard; and a sister, Goldie Smith. He is survived by a brother, Carl (& Shirley) Beynon of Cambridge; a sister, Judith (& William) Pethtel of Cambridge; and several nieces & nephews. A memorial visitation will be held Monday (August 24, 2015) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where a memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randy Mercer officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
