Robert Richard Bowman

Robert "Bob" Richard Bowman, 85, of Cambridge passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Astoria Place of Cambridge.

Bob was born January 7, 1939, in Coshocton, Ohio, a son of the late Harold "Shorty" and Nettie (West) Bowman.

Bob was a coal miner until later in life when he worked for Colgate. He was a member of the Eagles and enjoyed gambling. He was a Nazarene by faith. He was a United States Air Force Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Judith "Judy" Bowman whom he married in 1961 and who passed February 2, 2023, and his brother Larry Bowman.

He is survived by his daughter Trudy (& Al) Adair of Granville; a sister, Patty Holskey of Henderson, KY; brother- in- law Robert (& Karen) Edwards of Cambridge; special friends, Dave and Ellen Adair and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge from 11AM-1PM with the service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Guernsey Memory Gardens.
