Robert Junior Casey, 81, of Cambridge, died Thursday (November 22, 2007) at the Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on June 15, 1926 in Cambridge, son of the late Eva Casey. Mr. Casey was a foreman at Cambridge Lumber for thirty-eight years. He was a former member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901. Mr. Casey was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during WWII. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Casey, who died in 1967; and a brother, Delbert Casey. He leaves his wife, Eleanor Jamiel Casey, whom he married in June of 1973; two daughters, Anita (& Gregory) Young of Cincinnati and Loretta (& Richard) Balik of Cambridge; two grandchildren, David (& Christianne) Balik of Columbus and Anita Balik of Orlando FL; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Tuesday (November 27, 2007) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Randolph White officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
