Robert Ellis Doyle Sr.

Robert Ellis Doyle Sr., 71, of Cambridge and formerly of Cleveland, suddenly passed away on Saturday (September 11, 2021) at his home.

He was born on October 5, 1949 in Uniontown PA, son of Evelyn J. Lukehart and the late Ellis Benton Doyle.

Mr. Doyle was a retired electrician.

He had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family. Kierra and Beverly especially took care of him tenderly and lovingly.

Robert enjoyed auto-body work, and tinkering and painting old cars and boats, and was known for his ability to fix just about anything.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert E. Doyle Jr.; a daughter, Amy Powers; two brothers, James Doyle and Charles Doyle Sr.; and his wife, Sherry Doyle.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn J. (Taylor) Lukehart of Cambridge; three sons, Brian Doyle and Ellis B. Doyle III of Cleveland, and George (Vicky) Doyle of Punta Gorda FL; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Suarez-Doyle of Cleveland and Rio (Robert) Malkowski of Lorain; two brothers, Kevin (Millie) Lukehart of Cleveland and Richard (Mary Jane) Lukehart (Doyle)  of Cleveland; a sister, Beverly (Greg) Moore of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Joshua, Gary, Brooke, Darrion, Ethan, Bethany, Savannah, Robby, and ReeRee; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

No calling hours or funeral services will be held at this time.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
