Robert Eugene Dunn

Robert Eugene Dunn, 79, of Quaker City, died Monday (May 20, 2019) at Barnesville Hospital.

He was born January 14, 1940 in Barnesville, son of the late Paul Dunn and Blanche (Gallagher) Dunn.

A 1958 graduate of Barnesville High School, Mr. Dunn was a lifelong carpenter and a member of Carpenters Union #3 of Wheeling. He also painted Mail Pouch Tobacco barns.

Mr. Dunn was a member of the Mt. Zion Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki A. (Baugh) Dunn, who died July 31, 2018. They were married April 23, 1960.

He is survived by two sons, Robert J. Dunn and Jason Robert (& Krista) Dunn; and a granddaughter, Abbey Dunn.

Visitation will be held Thursday (May 23, 2019) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Quaker City.
