Robert C. Hall

Robert C. Hall, 77, of Oregon OH, died Wednesday (September 5, 2012) at his home. He was born July 1, 1935 in Senecaville, son of the late Forrest W. Hall and Virginia M. (Moorehead) Hall. Mr. Hall was a supervisor for thirty-four years with GTE/Verizon. He retired in 1991. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a member of the Barbershoppers, Kiwanis, and the Ohio Telephone Pioneers Association. Mr. Hall was a US Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy M. Taylor; and a brother, Paul W. Hall. He is survived by his wife, Doris J. (Johnson) Hall of the home, whom he married February 7, 1959; two sons, John C. (& Susan) Hall of Barberton and James C. Hall of South Lebanon; and five grandchildren, Jonathan, Jason, Logan, Alexis, and Marissa. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Saturday (September 8, 2012) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Doug Bryan officiating. Burial will be at Senecaville Cemetery, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
