Robert W. Harper

Robert W. Harper, 53, of Cambridge, died Friday (July 29,2016) at OSU Medical Center in Columbus. He was born May 15, 1963, in Pomona, Calif., son of Elizabeth (Nealey) Harper of Cambridge. Mr. Harper worked as a mechanic at Z-Bus Transportation. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by a grandson; Blake Nickolas Harper. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen (Garner) Harper, whom he married on Dec. 1, 1986; two sons, Douglas Harper and Gregory Harper, both of Cambridge; three daughters, Grace (Jerid) Baird of Lore City, Kimberly Harper and Tiffany Harper, both of Cambridge; a brother, Chris (Valorie) Harper of Cumberland; three sisters, Lora (Dan) Geary of Lore City, Tina (Dan) Rominger of Kimbolton and Sally Harper (Richard Webb) of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Kolton Baird and Harmon Brown; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Services will be on Tuesday (August 2, 2016) at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.
